Karelia Alpine Lodge is located in the higher levels of Falls Creek and is the only Austrian-Swiss Chalet in Falls Creek, with rooms set in the old traditional Romantic Tyrolian Alpine Style.

Karelia features an on-site bar and restaurant, JB’s, serving both Australian and European cuisine, including Hungarian goulash, cheese-meat-chocolate fondues and Czech traditional roast with bread dumplings. Jerry’s Stall sells Bohemian street food include goulash pies, Czech pastries/cookies and goulash soup.

The Lodge can accommodate 45 guests in well-appointed rooms, with full en-suite facilities, television sets, bed linen, minibars and some rooms with a balcony. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and throughout the lodge. Recover after a day on the slopes in our outdoor sauna and space, or put your feet up in the communal lounge whilst enjoying a glass of wine.

The lodge is located in an ideal place for ski-in and ski-out, being close to Halley's Commet chair lift which takes you up to Cloud 9 and the start of snowsport school. You can ski to the lodge’s front door via Wombat’s Ramble Home Trail and the Aqueduct Home Trail.
