Falls Creek operates a dedicated Medical Centre during the winter season for general practice consultations and emergency medical services. The Medical Centre is staffed by experienced doctors for general practice consultations and snow sports injuries. X-ray facilities are also available. Patients are seen in order of arrival and medical priority so appointments are not made.

Located on the Bogon High Plains Rd, the Falls Creek Medical Centre is close to the bottom of the Gully Chairlift.

Opening Hours: 

The Medical Centre is open daily during the snow season for GP consultations between 10am-12:30pm and 2pm-4:45pm.

During summer, the Medical Centre is closed and the phone will be diverted to Mount Beauty Medical Centre. Appointments are available year round in Mount Beauty by calling (03) 5754 3400.

After Hours Care: 

During the winter season a doctor is available at all times for urgent problems. All after hour phone calls are directed to a mobile number; please be prepared to write down instructions. An ambulance is available on the mountain (ambulance insurance is recommended for all visitors and mountain staff).

The nearest pharmacist is in Mount Beauty. During winter, scripts can be filled and sent to Falls Creek by delivery service (this is not available in summer). Delivered scripts can be collected from Falls Creek Resort Management 7 days a week, from 9am to 5pm.

Some non-prescription items are available from the Falls Creek Medical Centre. However, prescription items can only be issued following a consultation with a doctor (available at the Medical Centre).

Falls Creek Ski Patrol

If you are in need of Ski Patrol, please call (03) 5758 3502.

By calling (03) 5758 3502, you will be connected to the emergency Patrol dispatch hotline.

Ask a lift attendant to radio for Ski Patrol - there will be an attendant at the top and bottom of each operating lift.

You can also head to Ski Patrol base - this is located at the top of the Monkey Bar Poma (inbetween Cloud 9 and Scotts Chair).

If there is a person involved in an accident or with a suspected injury on the slopes, please make sure you:

• Take a pair of skis and create a cross several metres uphill of the injured person.
• If there are only snowboards on hand you should lay these upside down uphill of the person

Slalom Plaza: 

There are public toilets located at the base of the main stairs in Slalom Plaza. As you head down the stairs towards the Slalom Plaza day car park they can be found on both sides of the St. Falls Resort building.

The Village Bowl:

Public toilets can be found in the Village Bowl adjacent to the children's playground. Toilets are open to all visitors during the snow season.

Change Rooms & Parents Rooms:

Change rooms, showers and parents rooms are located within the St. Falls Resort Complex. As you head down the stairs in Slalom Plaza towards the Slalom Plaza day car park, these facilities can be found on the left side of the building.

Falls Creek Childcare is open year-round for children aged 12 weeks to 5 years old, and is conveniently located in Slalom Plaza at the base of the Halley's Comet chairlift. Falls Creek Childcare offers 16 places daily and runs full day and half day sessions staffed by qualified and experienced educators. 

During winter spaces are limited, and blackout dates may apply, so early bookings are highly recommended, and all booking requests are subject to availability.  

There are specific requirements around booking procedure, enrolment requirements, attendance, what to bring and the centre's sickness cancellation policy.
