The secret’s out, Falls Creek is a mecca for all foodies. As one of Victoria's best kept secrets, it’s now time for us to spill the beans on all of the amazing food options on offer at Falls Creek. With 27 places to eat and drink there is something to satisfy every tastebud.

Whether you’re looking for an 8 course degustation at Summit Ridge, crispy fried chicken from the Frying Pan Inn or a German inspired meal from JB’s, the options are endless at Falls Creek.

We’ve put together a list of our favourite places to eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner & of course après!


Breakfast

Bob Sugar at Elk

Looking for egg and bacon to fill your belly?! Head into Bob Sugar for Elk's famous egg and bacon toastie! Great to take away for a speedy start to your day or sit and enjoy it with a coffee. Bob Sugar is located within Elk on Slalom Street, around 200m from Slalom Plaza, making for an easy pop in on your way up the hill.

1550 at St. Falls Resort

If you fancy a quick fix before you hit the slopes pop into 1505 for a coffee and delicious eggs and bacon. Partied too hard at après? The team at 1550 will get you sorted for your day on the hill.

Milch

Did somebody say breaky wrap? With a breaky wrap to suit both the bacon lover and the vegetarian, there's something for everyone when it comes to breakfast at Milch. With a friendly atmosphere and delicious food it is the perfect place for a mid-village meal on your snow holiday.


Lunch

Cloud 9

Not just hot chips and pizza?! Yep that’s correct, the food at Cloud 9, located at the top of the mountain, is not your traditional mountain food. With beautiful soups, big filling salads, tasty bowls of warming ragu and roast chicken, beef and lamb, the options for lunch are endless at Cloud 9. Eat there every day of your snow holiday and never tire of the food, it’s that good!

Falls Creek Hotel

Ski or board straight to the door at Falls Creek Hotel for a brilliant pub lunch. With traditional pub food and arguably the best balcony on the mountain, the Falls Creek Hotel is a must visit location during your stay at Falls Creek. Head in on a Tuesday or Thursday and stick around for the famous après with great drink deals and live music.

Alpine Pepper

Located at the gateway to Falls Creek, at the base of Gully Chair and International Poma, you won't miss Alpine Pepper on your way into Falls. With a variety of hot food, sandwiches and paninis on offer, Alpine Pepper is a great place to stop for lunch on your way in or after a big day on the slopes. Bring the kids along and enjoy the relaxed family friendly cafe.

Snonuts 

Located conveniently next to Halley's Comet, you'll find Snouts at the top of the stairs at Slalom Plaza. It's the perfect pit stop if you're enjoying a day out riding, offering a wide variety of tasty treats including donuts, milkshakes, sweet and savoury crepes, baked spuds, toasties and hot and cold drinks. 


Dinner

There are too many amazing dinner options at Falls Creek so we’ve listed our top picks with a little teaser about each one.

Bob Sugar

For fabulous Asian fusion and a brilliant fire where you’ll finish the meal by roasting a marshmallow!

Astra

Astra offers sophistication, elegance and a 5 star dining experience. With its large open fire, Astra is the perfect place to settle in for a night cap after a hard day on the slopes. 

Summit Ridge

Enjoy an 8 course degustation with wine pairing in the cosy restaurant at Summit Ridge. It is an experience like no other in an Alpine region.

Milch

Sit by the fire and enjoy a glass of wine from the extensive wine list at Milch. With a friendly atmosphere and delicious food it is the perfect place for a mid-village meal on your snow holiday.

Powderkeg at St. Falls Resort 

A great pub meal in an awesome pub atmosphere. Play a game of pool and finish the day watching the final skiers and boarders heading down Wombats Ramble. 

JB’s

A European inspired venue with all the flavours you love from Germany and beyond.

Cock and Bull

A cosy English inspired pub with great booths to recount your day on the slopes with mates. If you’re game we recommend trying the chicken wing challenge – how many will you do?

Frying Pan Inn

Smoked meats and hearty veggies in a fun pub atmosphere. Frying Pan Inn is a great place for the whole family, with table tennis, foosball, pool and darts, settle in with your family and friends for a fun night at “The Pan”.

Chophouse

The Chophouse is a great place for a cocktail, dinner or a game of shuffle board. The vibe is fun and friendly and the food is delicious with all your favourite meats on offer.

Attunga 

Attunga boasts one of the most spectacular views of a Falls Creek sunset on the mountain. From duck spring rolls, to squid tentacles, to veal shanks and steak, Attunga has something for everyone. After dinner, relax in the lounge by the fireplace, or watch the slopes from the balcony.
