Towers Chairlift is open!

Updated 20 June 2024

Enjoy laps on Main Street as Towers Chairlift is now spinning for the season! Thanks to our hard-working snowmaking team topping up the natural snowfalls in resort, we’re excited to announce that we will have our first blue terrain open from Wednesday 19th June!

If you’re still getting your snow feet, we recommend starting in our beginner area near Mouse Trap Carpet to practice your turns before heading over to Main Street for fast and fun laps! Private lessons are available across both areas for adults and children, and these can be booked online here.

With Wombat’s Ramble also open this week, guests can now ski and board back to the village on Australia’s longest green run.

With more snow in the forecast and great snowmaking conditions, our teams will be working hard to get more terrain open as soon as possible! Take a look at our 14 Day Forecast, powered by Weatherzone, to get excited for the chilly temps. Plus, keep an eye on our socials and sign up to our snow report for further updates on what’s open.

Our snowmakers have been working their magic out on the slopes every night and day making snow when conditions allow. When the temps are on, we’re making snow!

To make sure you’re ready to hit the slopes, you can pick up your rentals from Falls Creek Sports in Slalom Plaza, and lift tickets can be collected from our Pick Up Boxes in Falls Creek Sports and The Board Lounge in resort, or Ray’s Ski Shop in Myrtleford.

Plus, you can enjoy some retail therapy with The Board Lounge and Falls Creek Sports stores open in Slalom Plaza and Cloud 9!

All this talk of skiing and boarding at Falls Creek have you stoked for winter? Book your snow trip by purchasing lift tickets, lessons and rentals at least 7 days in advance to save!
