After many great nights of snowmaking, Wombat’s Ramble is now open for skiing and boarding! Our snowmaking and mountain operations teams have been working around the clock to get more terrain open, with guests now able to ski and ride back to the village.

If you’re still getting your snow feet, start on Mouse Trap Carpet to practice your turns before heading down Wombat’s Ramble to enjoy Australia’s longest green run! Private lessons for beginners will be available across both areas for adults and children and can be booked online here.

Our teams are also focused on getting Main Street terrain and Towers Chairlift open as soon as possible. We’re so excited to be opening the mountain for our guests this winter! Keep an eye on our socials and sign up to our snow report for further updates on what’s open.

Guests can pick up their rentals from Falls Creek Sports in Slalom Plaza, and lift tickets can be collected from our Pick Up Boxes in Falls Creek Sports and The Board Lounge, or Ray’s Ski Shop in Myrtleford. 

Plus, you can enjoy some retail therapy with The Board Lounge and Falls Creek Sports stores open in Slalom Plaza and Cloud 9! 

Our snowmakers have been working their magic out on the slopes every night and day making snow when conditions allow. Following our fresh snowfalls last week, the snow guns have been pumping as much as they can. When the temps are on, we’re making snow! 

Looking ahead, snowmaking temperatures are looking promising across the week, with up to 15cm of fresh snowfall coming later this week to top up what’s already on the base! Take a look at our 14 Day Forecast, powered by Weatherzone, to get excited for the chilly temps.
