What’s on in July at Falls Creek!

Posted 23 June 2024

It’s going to be another year of exciting events at Falls Creek this season! Our calendar is stacked with activities for everyone, including freestyle events, après sessions, racing comps and lots of FREE family-friendly activities.

Our family friendly events kick off during the school holidays, with Fireworks Fiesta every Thursday night from 4th July to 29th August, plus come down and say hello to Pete the Snowdragon every Tuesday afternoon in the Village Bowl at Twilight Tuesday! Get ready to hit the slopes under lights with Night Skiing and Boarding on Wednesdays and Saturday from 29th June.

If throwing it down freestyle in the park is more your style, there’s so many events to be a part of! It all kicks off with our Board Lounge Throwdown on Friday 5th July, a rail jam under lights open to both skiers and boarders.

For those who love a racing comp, we have two Falls Creek classics returning, with Cranky Charlie and Rossignol Cup on 10th July! Or if racing at night is more your style, Wombat’s Rambler returns for skiers and boarders on Friday 12th July.

If you’re in the market for some new equipment, don’t miss the Ski Demo Days on 8th & 9th July, hosted by The Ski & Boot Co. Meet the leading brands and test their latest and greatest gear before you buy!

Our renowned Mim’s Women’s Program, returns in July alongside the new Mike’s Men’s Ski Program, running for three days from Friday July 26th. These programs are designed to enhance your skills and push your skiing and snowboarding ability, all while being led by our dynamic instructors in a lively weekend schedule. There are still spots available in both programs; skiing and boarding for Mim’s and skiing only for Mike’s, running in July, August and September. Book before they’re sold out!

For the little shredders, we have Snow Australia Interschools and Snow Australia Schools Carnival running in mid and late July. These school-led events are designed to bring skiers and boarders from across the country together to compete.

With so much happening in July, now’s the time to lock in your lift tickets, lessons and rentals! By booking at least 7 days in advance you’ll get the best price and guarantee yourself a stress-free winter holiday.

If you’re an Epic Australia Pass Holder, don’t forget to gather your crew to make the most of your 6 x Bring A Mate lift tickets, giving you access to 50% off single-day lift tickets for over half the season.
